03.08.2012 Association for Protection of Landowners' Rights Has Been Renamed

August 3, 2012 - Association for Protection of Landowners' Rights convened its members' General Meeting. 

General Meeting took decision to change the name of the Association for Protection of Landowners Rights. The new name of the organization is the Association of Professionals on Land and Realty.

Because in recent years activities of the Association has been focused not only on the protection of landowners' rights, but also on the implementation of the projects related to land and real estate, on facilitation to the development of land and real estate markets and professional development of those specialists involved in real estate related fields, the name of the organization has not fully reflected the essence of organization's purposes. Based on above arguments, General Meeting voted for the change of the Name of Association for Protection of Landowners' Rights.

General Meeting also amended the acting charter and elected the members of the Revision Commission.

Members of Revision Commission elected:

1. Giorgi Kananashvili (chairman).
2. Vazha Chopikashvili.
3. Kakhaber Laskhi.
