18.07.2011 Special Training Program in Movable Property Valuation Provided for Employees of Revenue Services and National Forensic Bureau of Georgia


APLR provided trainings in the field of movable property valuation for 35 employees of Batumi, Poti and Kutaisi Territorial Agencies of the Revenue Services and National Forensic Bureau of Georgia. Training sessions were held on July 4-14, 2011, in the city of Batumi.

Professional training program, elaborated in accordance with international standards set forth for property valuation, covered the legal aspects and methodology of movable property valuation, calculation of depreciation, basic valuation methods and procedures, process of valuation and preparation of final report.

At the interactive lectures participants were intensely involved in the teaching process. The program ensured delivering both theory and practical and situation exercises; presentations were used for visualization of the material provided.

Printed materials related to the topics of training program were distributed among the trainees; electronic versions of presentations, international valuation standards and sample valuation reports were also provided. During the sessions participants were asked to pass special tests in order to assess their knowledge acquired.

           If the trainees successfully undergo certification process, they will get certificates of movable property valuator issued by the Professional Certification Body.

 APLR Professional Certification Body is accredited in full compliance with international standard ISO/IEC 17024:2008 – General Requirements to the Bodies Operating Certification of Persons.
