16.04.2009 Certificates of Competency Issued to Real Property Surveyors

Real property surveyors who had successfully completed APLR training and certification programs were issued certificates of competency.

APLR has already trained and certified 15 real property surveyors, who learnt the theory of cadastral survey, acquired practical skills, got surveyor’s profession and successfully underwent certification process according to international standards.

Data on certified surveyors will be available on the web-sites of APLR Professional Certification Body (www.certification.org.ge) and National Agency of Public Registry (www.reestri.gov.ge). Customers interested will be able to find information on certified specialists and make respective decision with regard to service providers.

Currently several hundreds of surveying companies are working in Georgia. Most of them are unable to ensure high quality of cadastral works; as a result certain problems are arising while registration of real property at public registry.

Abundance of high qualified surveyors on real property markets will reduce above problems to the minimum.
