10.07.2008 International Valuation Standards Registered in Georgia through APLR Support

On July 4, National Agency of Standards, Technical Regulations and Metrology of Georgia registered at the state registry international valuation standards elaborated and approved by International Valuation Standards Committee (IVSC). Based on such registration the said standards have acquired legal status in Georgia.

 

Registration of international valuation standards at state registry was initiated and supported by APLR. All parties interested, such as private companies acting on real estate valuation market, as well as real estate experts have been involved in the process of standardization.  Noteworthy is the fact that advancement and use of international valuation standards in Georgia will lead to the improved quality of real estate valuation services in the country.
