22.08.2007 APLR Studies the Work of NAPR Registration Offices

 

APLR shall study the work of Telavi, Rustavi, Gori, Kutaisi and Batumi registration offices, analyze registered cadastral information, current procedures for data registration, use of geo-information systems and based on obtained data draft recommendations for National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) for the improvement of registration offices’ work.

 

Within the scope of the contract concluded with NAPR, in each mentioned registration office APLR is to study statistics of initial registrations and further transactions; number and format of submitted survey plans and issued cadastral maps, as well as of digital maps; principles  for encoding cadastral information; use of alphanumeric data;  precision of digital information; system for the use of tax-payer lists;  number of the staff working with graphical data, level of their skills and the necessity for their training.

 

The works envisioned by the contract shall be completed by September of this year.  Recommendations made by APLR shall ensure improvement of cadastral data registration system and advancement of unified and effective registration procedures at all registration offices in Georgia, as well as improvement of personnel skills.
