Project Abstract:

Together with the development of geo-information sciences in Georgia, demand for the maps prepared through the modern technologies is increasing. As of today many governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations and private companies use topographic, cadastral and thematic maps in their day-to-day activities in various fields.

Under the contract signed with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Association for Protection of Landowners’ Rights prepares topographic and geo-information maps for the regions of Adjara, Imereti, Samagrelo, Zemo Svaneti, Kakheti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti, Shida Kartli, and Kvemo Kartli. As a result printed versions of high quality maps are submitted to the customer.

The works done within the frame of the project provide the Ministry with precise and updated geo-information.
