Project Abstract:

 

While intensive privatization process has been carried out in Georgia for last several years, there are a number enterprises or real property units in different regions of Georgia remaining in state ownership. Privatization of such real properties  will trigger small and medium business development and economic advancement  in the country.

 

For registration and further privatization of state owned real properties, the Ministry of Economic Development  contracted Association for Protection of Landowners Rights for survey and mapping services.

 

Within the scope of the project APLR ensures field works in Guria,  Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Kvemo Kartli, Khakheti and Samrtskhe-Javakheti regions at the project covered buildings and land parcels attached hereto. APLR specialists carry out cadastral and topographic surveys, specify boarders of land parcels, study underground and overground communications and relief, identify building outlines and area.

 

After field data processing, both printed and digital versions of respective maps are prepared for the submission to the MoED.

 

Based on the above works registration of state owned buildings intended for further  privatization is ensured.
