Project Abstract:

Since the large scale privatization of state owned agricultural land has been commenced in Georgia, Association for Protection of Landowners’ Rights prepared free-of-charge privatization plans for local Sakrebulos in various regions of Georgia and depicted on maps state owned leased and non-leased lands, as well as location, boarders and approximate areas of these parcels.

After the privatization plans had been approved by local Sakrebulos, Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, it became necessary to prepare detailed cadastral plans for land parcels subject to privatization and their registration at Public Registry.

Taking into consideration wide experience and high quality of cadastral works implemented by APLR, local municipalities concluded agreements  with it, based on which detailed cadastral plans for the land parcels that are part of privatization plans covering the administrative territories of local municipalities are prepared.

Apart from designing detailed cadastral plans, in certain rayons APLR also carries out renovation of privatization plans. Land parcels initially not shown  on privatization plans, as well as leased land parcels currently subject to privatization at an open auctions are also depicted on these plans.

As a result of cadastral works printed detailed plans of land parcels and privatization plans are submitted to the customers. If requested, local municipalities can also get the electronic versions of maps.

The works implemented within the scope of the project ensure fast privatization of agricultural land and development of real property markets.
