Real property surveyors who have successfully completed APLR training and certification programs were issued certificates of competency. APLR already trained and certified 15 real property surveyors, who learnt the theory of cadastral survey, acquired practical skills, got surveyor’s profession and successfully underwent certification process according to international standards. >>>

04.04.2009 Acquisition of Privately Owned Land Parcels within Marabda-Karsi Railway Corridor Began

Association for Protection of Landowners’ Rights shall carry out inventory of land parcels alongside Marabda-Karsi railway construction/rehabilitation corridor, mediate between the State and owners and ensure acquisition of these parcels by the State. The Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia contracted APLR to provide land acquisition services for the implementation of Baku-Tbilisi-Karsi railway project. >>>

15.01.2009 IDPs get the Land into Private Ownership, Free-of-Charge

Internally displaced persons will get the residential and agricultural land parcels transferred to them by the State into private ownership, free-of-charge. On December 18, 2008, Parliament of Georgia amended the law on Privatization of State Owned Agricultural Land. >>>
